Visit TherapyAppointment
TherapyAppointment is a behavioral-health EHR whose defining feature is caseload-based pricing: clinicians seeing only a handful of clients per month pay a fraction of the full rate, which makes it a favorite for semi-retired therapists, supervisees, and side practices. Functionally it covers the core loop — scheduling with reminders, therapy notes, treatment plans, client portal with self-scheduling, telehealth, insurance claim submission, and ERA posting — with a straightforward, if utilitarian, interface. The company has therapist roots and support gets good marks. AI documentation is not native, so practices wanting ambient notes pair it with an external scribe. It lacks the polish and ecosystem of SimplePractice and the billing depth of TherapyNotes, but for cost-sensitive clinicians whose volume fluctuates, the sliding pricing alone can justify the choice.
